Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Sprouted vaal/ Broad Beans / Fava Beans soaked and sprouted
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • ½ inch ginger chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds jeera
  • 1/3 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 clove
  • ½ inch cinnamon
  • 2 bay leaf
  • 3 green chilli
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 2 tablespoon ghee or cooking oil
  • 1 pinch hing/Asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Soak sprouted beans in boiling water for 15 minutes then drain from water. Heat ghee or oil in a heavy bottom pan. When ghee is hot add cumin/jeera and let them crackle. Now add sliced onion, green chilli, ginger and the clove cinnamon, bay leaf hing/Asafoetida and sauté until onion becomes golden brown. Add turmeric powder stir.  Now add beans and sauté about 3-4 minute over medium heat then add rice and salt mix cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes. Turn off heat and garnish with coriander leaf serve hot with plain curd.
