Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup kuttu ka atta/buckwheat flour
  • 1 medium size potato boiled and mashed
  • 2-3 finely chopped green chilli
  • 2 teaspoon fresh chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon chopped ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Rock salt/sendha namak to taste
  • water
  • Oil or ghee for cooking parataha
  • ¼ tsp. cumin seeds
  • Rock salt/sendha namak to taste

Instructions
 

  • Mix well kuttu/buckwheat flour and potato. add salt, green chilli, coriander, ginger, cumin and mix. Add a little water and start making dough.
  • Heat tava on medium heat and dived into 8 portions and roll into a circle, lift gently and place on hot tava flip after few sec. you will see the brown spot on both sides. serve hot with curd or potato sabzi.

We often use kuttu ka atta/buckwheat flour on Navratri or any other fasting. Kuttu ka paratha is a good option if you want to add variety to  the fasting menu. Since kuttu ka atta/buckwheat flour is gluten-free , I used potato binding agents. Sweet potato also can be used.

what we need for  Kuttu ka paratha

1 ½ cup kuttu ka atta/buckwheat flour

1 medium size potato boiled and mashed

2-3 finely chopped green chilli

2 teaspoon fresh chopped coriander leaves

¼ tsp chopped ginger

¼ tsp. cumin seeds

Rock salt/sendha namak to taste

Water

Oil or ghee for cooking paratha

How to make

Tips– If you place zip lock bag on rolling board it will be easy to roll and lift paratha. See in the pic.
