   What we Need

  • 1 cup moong dal
  • 2 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 4 teaspoon capsicum chopped
  • 3-4 fine chopped green chili
  • Ginger julienne
  • coriander leaves chopped
  • Red chili powder (optional)
  • Baking soda ½ teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Butter to cook

 How to make Moonglet omelette without egg

Drain all the water from Moong dal and make smooth batter do not add water. Transfer moong dough to mixing bowl, beat for 3 minutes to make fluffy. Add the onion and capsicum, finely chopped, you can add a finely chopped tomato if desired. Mix the salt and baking soda or the salt from the Eno fruit ½ teaspoon. Add the butter to the pan, make sure the pan is well coated with butter, pour the batter into the pan, and sprinkle with Julien ginger and a little red chili powder. Cover and simmer for a couple of minutes. Once the top surface becomes dry, flip over to the other side and press gently. Cut Moonglet into 4 sections like the pizza now spread 1 tablespoon of butter. Cover again for 2 minutes after 2 minutes remove the lid. Moonglate is ready to serve. enjoy with tomato sauce or chutney.
