Jackfruit Kebab

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gram jackfruits
  • 50 gm gram dal/chana dal soaked for 30 minutes
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 inch long pieces ginger
  • 5-5 Green chilli chopped
  • 1 full garlic minced
  • 2 tsp. coriander chopped
  • 2 small cardamoms,1 clove,
  • 1/4 tespoon crushed black pepper
  • 1 tsp. garam masala
  • 2-3 tbsp. roasted gram flour besan
  • 1 tbsp. red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • oil for deep-frying

Instructions
 

  • Boil gram dal, jackfruit garlic cardamom, clove, black pepper, with the little water I use a pressure cooker because it takes less time than a pan when it is done make a paste in the mixer or with the spoon or in a chopper. Now in the jackfruit mixture, add finely chopped onion (if you cannot chop very fine you can use a grater), grated ginger, green chilli red chilli powder, cumin seed, salt, coriander leaves, garam masala and gram flour mix well and make round flat kebab shapes. Deep fry in golden brown colour. serve hot with mint dip.
