Mango Lassi

Ingredients
  

  • 2 big ripe mangoes peeled and diced
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk i have used full cream you can use as per choice
  • 3 tablespoons sugar adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder optional
  • Crushed ice optional
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Peel the mangoes and dice the ripe mangoes. Remove the pit and cut them into small pieces.
  • Blend the Mangoes:
  • In a blender, add the diced mangoes.
  • Add Yogurt and Milk
  • Add 1 cup of plain yogurt and 1/2 cup of milk to the blender.
  • Sweeten with Sugar:
  • Add 3 tablespoons of sugar (adjust the amount to suit your taste).
  • Add Cardamom Powder
  • Sprinkle in 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder for a fragrant flavor.
  • Blend Until Smooth:
  • Blend all the ingredients until you have a smooth and creamy mixture. If you prefer a colder lassi, you can also add some crushed ice and blend again.
  • Serve Chilled:
  • Pour the mango lassi into glasses.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
If the lassi is too thick, you can add a little more milk to reach your desired consistency.
Feel free to experiment with other spices like a pinch of saffron or a dash of cinnamon for different flavors.
For a vegan version, use dairy-free yogurt and milk.
