Paneer in Tomato Gravy
Paneer/Cottage cheese paneer in tomato gravy is a good source of protein, fat, vitamins, and minerals. Paneer in tomato gravy cooked in tomato purée which gives rich red colour to gravy here is my recipe for Paneer Tomato Gravy
What we need
250 gm. paneer/Cottage cheese (you can cut in any shape )
4 big size tomato
1 Big onion
1 tbsp. ginger garlic paste
1/4 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. red chilli powder
2 tbsp. oil
salt to taste
How to make Paneer Tomato Gravy
Boil tomato with 1/2 cup water and purée. Grind onion in a blender makes a fine paste.
In a pan heat oil when oil is hot add ginger garlic paste fry for 1-minute add turmeric powder, onion paste, and stir till mixture is dry.
Now add tomato purée, red chilli powder and cook for the 1-2 minute add paneer and salt cover and cook another 5 minute on low flame.
Remove from fire.
Garnish with fresh cream and coriander leaves serve hot with roti or any rice.
do not cook paneer for a long time otherwise, paneer will become hard.
