Lauki -sabudana tikki is a good recipe for fasting for me. love to serve with salad. Lauki and sabudana tikki can be served as a snack.
2 potatoes medium size
1 medium size lauke/bottle gourd
2 tablespoon chopped coriander
2-3 chopped green chilli
½ teaspoon black pepper powder
¼ teaspoon cumin powder
4 tablespoon Sabudana/sago flour
Oil or ghee for cooking
Peel and grate bottle gourd and potato squeeze out water. steam vegetable for 5 minutes in micro or 10 minutes in the steamer. When the vegetable is done keep aside cool.
Mix potato, lauki/bottle gourd, coriander, chopped green chilli, salt, black pepper, cumin powder 1 tablespoon Sabudana powder mix well.
Take a small portion of the mixture and give a shape of kebab/nuggets and roll on remaining Sabudana flour.
Heat oil in a pan put some oil or ghee and spread place kebab and cook until both side golden brown and crispy serve with green chutney and salad.

Tomato is the most important ingredient in the Indian kitchen.We use tomatoes in different ways in curry, salad, taste juice soups, pizzas sandwiches. Tomato is filled with nutrients and antioxidants.Stuffed to taste different when you want to eat the tomato in different way stuffed the tomato with paneer is a great way.
What we need
Cut the top of the tomatoes and scoop pulp to create a cavity. Keep tomato a side.
In a mixing bowl add grated potato, paneer, pepper powder, mango powder, cumin powder, green chilli, coriander leaves, salt mix well.
Heat oil in a pan add the paneer mixture and sauté for 4 minutes keep stirring to avoid burn. Turn off heat and cool the mixture. When the mixture is completely cool
stuff in the tomatoes. Arrange in baking dish and grill in preheated oven at 200 degrees centigrade for 15 minutes.
Transfer stuffed tomatoes carefully into serving dish pour juice (while cooking tomatoes will leave some juice that can be served with tomato) garnish with coriander leaves.
Stuffed tomato can serve as a side dish or you can serve with peas pulao, (rice dish) paratha, naan or chapatti.

1 cup whole wheat flour
4 tbsp. soya flour
2 -3 green chilli finely chopped
½ cup curd or tofu
2 tbsp. chopped spinach leaves
2 clove garlic grated
½ tsp chopped ginger
½ cup crushed peas
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. chopped coriander leaves
oil or ghee for cooking

We all know the benefits of oats studies have shown helping in lowering cholesterol, stabilising the blood sugar, reducing high blood pressure, losing weight.I have added some flavour in cooking and serving oats and it turns out really tasty as Oats Idli so I thought to share with all of you.
1 cup oats rolled (you can use instant)
½ cup sooji (semolina)
½ cup chopped vegetable (cabbage, beans, peas, onion, and grated carrot)
½ tsp ginger chopped
1/3 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. red chilli powder
2 tbsp. chopped coriander leaves
½ cup curd
1 cup water
½ tsp. baking soda or eno fruit salt 1 tsp.
Salt to taste
½ tsp oil
1 pinch hing( Asafoetida)
2 green chilli chopped
½ tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. chana dal (Bengal gram split)
1 tsp urad dal (black gram)
½ tsp black pepper crushed
Firstly, make a fine flour of oats with the help of the grinder.
Now in a pan heat oil on medium heat. Add mustard seed, Chana dal and urad dal; stir when mustard starts crackling, add green chilli and chopped ginger, hing, add turmeric, red chilli powder, stir, add Sooji sauté for 2 minutes, now add oat flour, mix well and roast for 5 minutes. Cool it.
In a mixing bowl, add chopped vegetables, coriander leaves, oats mixture, salt, curd, water, mix well and keep aside for 5-6 minutes.
Now add baking soda or Eno fruit salt, mix well, pour batter into greased idli moulds…
Note –If you don’t have idli moulds you can use muffin mould and cook in the steamer or you can cook in the microwave.
peanut salad is very crunchy and healthy salad. peanut salad can serve as a snack too. peanut is very rich in protein.
1 cup raw peanut
1 tsp. cooking oil
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
1 tsp. Red chilli powder
1 tsp, roasted cumin powder
1 medium onion chopped
1 medium tomato chopped in small cube
2 green chilli chopped
1 tbsp. Fresh coriander
Boil peanut on medium heat for 5 minutes with enough water and a pinch of salt ,turmeric.
drain and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan add ,chopped onion cook until onion gets brown add peanut and mix. Remove from fire.
Take peanut in a mixing bowl ,add tomato, salt, lemon juice, chilli powder, cumin powder chopped green chilli, chopped coriander and mix well.
You can serve hot or cold.€
